Mathematics is science of order and its theme is to find, describe, and understand the order and discipline hidden in apparently complicated situations; and principal tools of this science are the concepts which enable us to describe this order.

Physics is the science of recognition of general laws governing the behaviors of material and energy.  Constant efforts of physicians in this regard has caused discovery of many basic laws, announcement of theories, and getting to know some natural phenomenon.  Though these achievements are just a little in comparison with the unknowns in nature, but comprehensive and full acceleration efforts of researchers and scientists have created hope that the human can find the secrets of the universe.

Basic Sciences Grouphas started its activities since 1385 at the same time as the establishment of the Institute of Shahab Danesh with approach to offering basic courses efficiently and with the help of experienced professors in Qom province.  At present time, this group has 2 Full-time faculty members and 33 invited faculty members in educational levels of Associate and Bachelor in all related courses of mathematics and physics.
