Computer Technology deals with analysis and evaluation of processes and systems of receiving, maintaining, processing, and getting information in all aspects and designing effective systems.  Its software section works on designing and production of important software tools and also designing and analysis of algorithm and suitable software systems.  Considering the rapid improvement of these technologies, it is necessary to train experts who can analyze and design software systems and its algorithm and they also should be familiar with programing and various engineering software.

The group of Computer and IT engineering has started its activities since 1385 at the same time as the establishment of Shahab Danesh Institute.  At present, this group is training engineers and experts with profiting from 12 faculty members with Bachelor and Associate degrees and high quality of education.  Also, the group of IT and Computer Engineering in training expert personnel in two branches of artificial intelligence and software in Master's Degree level.
