Group of Theological and General Studies of Shahab Danesh University which consists of Theological group, Persian Language and Literature group, English Language group, and Physical Education has started its activities since 1387.  And all planning related to educational affairs and execution of classes in various colleges are done by management of Hojat al Islam val Moulmein , meaning "authority on Islam" ,Seyed Nasrollah Rahghi and by expert help of Mr. Mehdi Mohammadi and cooperation of 47 Part-time faculty members.

Subdivisions of General Studies Group

1-      Theological group of the University which has 31 male and female expert professors in Humanities which presents general classes of Theology for all educational fields in different levels.

The mission of this group is creating and updating the intuition and knowledge level and students' information in different fields of culture and Theology.

2-      Persian Language and Literature group has 5 invited professors in Persian literature and presents courses of Persian language to all students in Associate and Continuous Bachelor level.  The mission of this group is to get students familiar with Persian language and literature, correct reading, correct methods of writing, and promote and expand it.

3-      English Language group has 8 invited professors in this field and presents general English language classes to all students in Associate and Non-continuous Bachelor level.  And with consideration of everyday expansion of knowledge and application of English language in different areas, this group tries to promote and improve the ability of students in regard to English as an international language.

4-      Physical Education group of the university is working to improve the growth and physical and spiritual education of students and maintaining their physical readiness for health, wellness, and studying.
