Institute of Shahab Danesh has started its activities since 1385 (2006) as the first non-governmental university in the field of science and technology in province of Qom with permission of Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology with the efforts of number of Amir-Kabir Industrial University professors.  The main objective of the institute is to present higher education at the level of good universities in the country and to train effective engineers in engineering fields and there are more than 3000 students studying in this institute at present time.  The high quality of education in this institute has caused the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology calls this institute as one of the rare universities in very good education level.

Electrical Engineering Group which is one of the oldest groups in institute has been able to help hundreds of students to graduate with high level of knowledge with cooperation of professors.

Group of Electronic, Control, and Biomedical Engineering is one of the subsets of Electrical Engineering field which has been teaching students in associate, Bachelor, and Master degrees' different academic orientations since 1385.  More than 300 students are admitted to this institute in different fields and degrees annually.

Group of Electronic, Control, and Biomedical Engineering is currently enrolling students in different fields of Biomedical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, non-continuous bachelor degree of Electronics (Electronic Technology), continuous associate degree in Electronic (General Electronic), non-continuous bachelor degree in Control (Instrumentation, Build, and Production).  At present, there are 800 students studying in this group in university in different levels of education.

This group is proud to benefit experiences and knowledge of ten full-time faculty members and about 40 invited faculty members from selected university graduates in different academic branches.
