Electrical Engineering is extending new fields of industries because of its inclusive nature and opens up new methods.  Some of its practical fields are control of equipment and various processes, production and transmission of energy, electronic tools and processors, satellite and on ground communication, medical measurement tools, and radars.  Although, this field is one of the new engineering techniques, it has found the widest applications among all engineering fields in a little more than a century, and today, we seldom find a tool or part which does not have an electronic part in it.  Because of this wide usage, Electrical Engineering has always been one of the attractive fields in university for applicants to enter university; and Shahab Danesh Institute in Qom is one of the most important ones with the quality of being superior in this field among all private institutes in the country.

Institute of Shahab Danesh has started its activities since 1385 (2006) as the first non-governmental university in the field of science and technology in province of Qom with permission of Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology with the efforts of number of Amir-Kabir Industrial University professors.  Electrical Engineering Group which is one of the oldest groups in institute has been able to help hundreds of students to graduate with high level of knowledge with cooperation of professors.
